This is being a very busy week for all the second graders! Yesterday we finished making our little story books, the name of which is "Let's make friends".The kids really loved the story and they read their own books with pleasure.

Yesterday we started telling our age and our friends' age and we will go on the topic tomorrow. As an activity today; we colored birthday cakes, wrote our names and ages under those cakes, and pin them on our lovely bulletin board. Here is a photo of the board:

Dear parents and  students,

I am so excited to tell you that I will share what we do and will be doing during our English lessons throughout the year in class 2A via this blog! You will be able to see our children's photos, their videos, songs we are learning, powerpoints, stories and everything about English. Hope you will enjoy it ;) This week, we have learned "Days of the Week". Most of our kids already know them. However, because they are more engaged with reading and writing this year, they are now able to read and write the days of the week and put them in the correct order besides counting the days by heart. Here are some useful online game websites about "Days of the week". So you can play them with your children also at home. http://www.roythezebra.com/reading-games/high-frequency-words-days.html http://www.manythings.org/vocabulary/games/b/words.php?f=days_of_the_week http://www.turtlediary.com/kindergarten-games/math-games/weekdays.html Here are also some song videos and stories about the days of the week : STORIES ABOUT DAYS OF THE WEEK
